Root Canal Treatment
Also known as endodontic treatment . it is needed when the pulp of your teeth becomes
infected through tooth decay or damaged by an injury to the teeth.
The infection spreads through the top of tooth to the apex (end of the root)of teeth
which could eventually lead to an abscess causing great discomfort. if the treatment
is not carries out the tooth may need to be taken out.
At usc our dentists perform root canal treatment and stop the infection from spreading
and will preserve as much of your teeth structure as possible, using specific techniques

filling is then placed and the tooth is left to settle . the tooth is checked at
a later visit and when all the infection is cleared the tooth is permanently filled
. rct is skilled and time consuming procedure and most of the cases requires two
